I plan to utilize the glass case of the phar lap display to project a touch or motion
activated interface on to the glass.
The information displayed will allow the user to navigate through the chronological
history of phar lap and explore video, imagery and news articles along the way.
The interactive will highlight the history of phar lap as a new Zealand icon and
allow the user to view information at depth at their leisure.
The interactive will be inclusive of many different users by enabling them to
change text and image sizes at all times. Information will automatically adjust
height to match the eye level of the user using camera recognition technology.
Using speech recognition the interactive will automatically translate any text
elements into the users native language.
I plan for the display to be relocated into an octagonal shaped glass case to allow multiple points of access.
